Employment News Flash

How many of you are unemployed, or like me, are underemployed? Well, today I found out some interesting information. People from other countries have received thousands of jobs in the U. S., beating out American workers. I’m not talking about illegal’s, I’m talking about government sanctioned contracts and jobs given to Chinese workers. Below is a link to a video that will partially expose this truth. How does this theft of our ability to make a living for our families make you feel? Let me know. Resolutions Happy New Year to you all! I am glad to have put 2011 behind me.  I look forward with a spirit of expectancy to what the Lord will do in 2012. I have set goals for myself and my family, and I aim to accomplish them so that we can start to thrive instead of just survive. Every year people make New Year’s Resolutions that usually last no more than three months. They usually involve making more money, improving their attitudes and losing weight. The reason most people don’t accomplish their New Year’s Resolutions is that they are not serious. When I talk to people about their goals, either at the beginning of the year or throughout the year, …

Who Are We?  (Two Contrasting Videos To Make You Think) I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for, not the least of which is the fact that I am now home with my family. We should be thankful and give thanks every day, and that is my goal. However, there are some observations that I made over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. People are concentrating on the minutia. They aren’t excited about learning to start home-based business but are excited about buying the latest cell phone with Internet access. They aren’t excited about improving their children’s education and revenue opportunities but they are excited about getting their children designer clothes so they won’t be laughed at …

What Do You Believe? “Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.” — Alexander Hamilton. One of the most tragic occurrences that I have observed over the last decade is that the American people, due to lack of a sound belief system, have lost their way. Our teachers no longer teach right or wrong. http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/atlantas-testing-scandal-adds-1007201.html Our leaders smile in our faces and steal from us behind our backs and now, right in our faces http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704249004575385500597789846.html And parents don’t instruct their children in the basic tenants of being decent human beings. http://www.empoweringparents.com/Child-Verbal-Abuse-and-Threats.php#   The lack of sound ethical and moral values has led to the breakdown of the Number One Unit in the world – the family. The family is the …

About My October Newsletter

In my last newsletter I asked people for ideas on how to increase income and avoid the poor house. I received a few good ideas, and I will share them with you: Write your books and publish them. Give motivational speeches about your experiences, and encourage others to work together. Teach people to work together and unite disparate parties for common good. Do seminars every week. Start an internet business offering consulting or selling products that you recommend. Do freelance writing. I really appreciate the people that took the time to send in ideas. I hope that some of you can use these ideas to help your family. I will start speaking again in the future, and my first book …

Back In School

Wow, I finally got my first break in the last three weeks.  I had two tests and a paper due, all within a week.  I am taking Apologetics and Introduction to the New Testament.  In apologetics I am learning about different world religions and what they believe.  I am specifically learning how to defend the faith when confronted by members of these religions. This is not an easy task and you don’t go at it with a feather, you use science and philosophy.  For instance, THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS, which is a universal law of physics, says that everyone and everything is growing older and deteriorating.  This law says that eventually the universe will run out of usable energy …

Bend Over; Grab Your Ankles and Smile It’s October. The leaves are falling and so is the temperature.  The bugs are gone and the air is fresh. Now is the time to clear our heads of the clutter of summer and look towards the future. We are a nation of resilient people. However, our fabric has been eaten, soiled by moths like the clothes in my closet. As I see the Wall Street protestors I realize that we no longer understand what it will take to correct the problems our country is facing on an individual or corporate level. The way I see it, the powers that be are constantly telling us to bend over, grab our ankles and smile …

September 2011

Hi Everyone, I finally got the September newsletter out.  I am learning the new technology, and thanks to my Web guy, I am making progress. I wanted to thank those who attempted to put a “Welcome Home” party together for me.  Although I wanted to have the party, it may have been my undoing.  I am still on supervised release and I have to be careful. (This is where you must read between the lines.) I plan to have a party in August 2012.   This month I want to talk about a sad subject – The Prison System. Most Americans have been taught to think that everyone in prison is guilty of something.  I have met many people, before …

August 2011

Hi Everyone! I finally have the little shackle off my left leg and am out of the custody of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).  I am going to clear up some misconceptions, give you a brief summary of my journey and tell you of some of my future plans. First, let’s clear up some misconceptions that have been flying around the Internet for a few years. I was convicted of a misdemeanor, not a felony.  There is a BIG difference.  You can look up the differences when you have some free time. I was not convicted of tax evasion but willful failure to file.  Tax evasion is when you file but leave off over 25% of the “income” that you …
